Used Allen & Heath

Allen & Heath is a British mixing-console maker based in Penryn, Cornwall, founded in 1968 and now part of the Audiotonix group. Its history in live sound goes back to custom consoles built for touring bands in the early 1970s, and its Xone range brings that background to DJ mixers. The Xone:92, launched in the early 2000s, became a fixture of house and techno booths thanks to its analogue signal path, four-band EQ and resonant Xone:VCF filters, and Allen & Heath still makes a revised version. The Xone:96 followed in 2018 with dual USB sound cards and a second cue system, while the compact two-channel Xone:23 of 2014 put the Xone filter in a smaller box. All three have analogue signal paths, so used checks centre mainly on pots, faders and inputs.
